Slutty Brownies

A few days ago, I was scrolling through The Londoner, my all time favorite blog, when I came across a recipe for Slutty Brownies. Of course, being bored and hungry, I decided to make them. Here is my slightly edited version of The Londoners brilliant creation

Slutty Brownies

What You Will Need:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Start with a brownie pan. You can either grease it with oil (any sort of vegetable oil works, and butter works too) or cover the inside of the pan with parchment paper (it's baking paper, don't dig up some old scroll and set your house on fire).

To Make the Brownies:
1/2 cup of butter
2 eggs
1 Cup of Sugar (Un-dyed White is Healthier!)
1/4 a teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 Cup of flour
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa power

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

To Prepare:
In a saucepan, melt the 1/2 cup of butter.
Crack the eggs into the pan, and beat.
Stir in the Sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Add the 1/3 cup of cocoa and the baking powder.
Slowly add in the flour, storing it in as you go.

  • To Make a Chocolate Frosting (Not Necessary for this Recipe... but it's Useful)(Just Beat These Together):
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar

For the Slutty Brownies:
2 Packs of Oreos (Double Stuffed is Better)
Vegetable Oil

Then, make your cookies, and when you have the dough, squidge it into the bottom of the pan until it makes covers the bottom layer of your pan.

To Make the Cookie Dough:
1/4 cup of flour
1/8 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoons of butter, softened.*
1 tablespoon of butter, softened.
1 tablespoon of brown sugar.*
1 teaspoon of brown sugar.
1 1/2 teaspoons of white sugar.
1 egg.
Semi sweet chocolate chips. (1/2 cup)
1/4 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
*It may look like I'm asking you for two different amount of butter, but just add them together.

Next, cover your layer of cookie dough with oreos.

After that, take the brownie mix, and follow the instructions on the box until you end up with a thick batter.

Pour the batter over the Oreos, covering them completely.

Now, place your uncooked slutty brownies into the oven and wait 45 minutes.

When you pull them out of the oven, wait for 15 minutes while they cool before you cut them.
Serve with your favorite ice cream. (Vanilla is the best with these!)

Now... Enjoy.

Tips: Add a little extra oil and water to the cookie/brownie mixes for moister cookies and brownies.
